Jeremy Conn: Orioles J.J. Hardy Extended 3 Years $40 Million

I got a text around 11:00 today saying that J.J. Hardy would sign an extension either today or tomorrow. Well, it has been confirmed by a bunch of different outlets including all of the Orioles Beat Writers. Hardy will sign a 3 year 40 Million dollar extension. He will be locked up until he turns 34.

Great move by the Orioles to get him locked up before free agency. There were plenty of teams including both New York teams that wanted to make a run at Hardy.

I'm hearing more extensions will happen for the Orioles, but who is next? Will it be Markakis or Cruz? Who is the bigger priority in your mind?
