UPDATE: Orioles ALCS Game 1 Weather Forecast; Will They Or Won't They Play?
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- So far, so good. The Orioles first ALCS game is underway.
Meteorologist Tim Williams reports a little light rain is coming in the next hour or so.
It's currently a timing issue now. There is some activity out to our west that is moving our way. Heavy downpours are expected later Friday night and into Saturday morning, but it should move out of the region in time for Game 2.

Bring out your rain gear -- a poncho, a water resistant hat.
According to a post on the Orioles website, they are prepared for the rain, but also believe it's playable.
Sports director Mark Viviano reports the tarp remained on the field, so neither team was able to get any pregame batting practice outdoors.
"During the start of the game there will be some rain around, but we think that the steadiest rain is going to be later this evening and overnight," National Weather Service Meteorologist Brian LaSorsa said in the post. "If they can play through a light rain, then I think it's definitely playable."
In event of a postponement, Game 1 will be moved to Saturday and Game 2 to Sunday, the MLB said Friday. The Orioles face the Royals in Kansas City starting Monday.
Temperatures were in the upper 50s by around 8 p.m., with rain coming in by 1 a.m.
Then the rain is set to move out of the area and by Saturday morning things will start to clear out with a 40 percent chance of rain in the morning.
