Ed Norris: Ravens Schedule Stacks Up Well

While I'm aware that games aren't played on paper or by computers and all the "any given Sunday" stuff, but looking at the Ravens' schedule is cause for optimism.

The ten opponents remaining have a combined record of 25-30-1 with only three of those teams are currently posting winning records (Chargers, Bengals and Browns). Better yet the toughest game on the schedule (San Diego) is played in Baltimore.

Basically, while I can easily be accused of homer-ism, I can see the Ravens winning seven of their next ten giving them a record of 11-5 and a playoff spot. (That allows them 3 more losses in the 10 remaining games for those not counting)

Here's how it stacks up for quick reference:

Week 7: vs. Falcons
Week 8: at Bengals
Week 9: at Steelers
Week 10: vs. Titans
Week 11: Bye
Week 12: at Saints
Week 13: vs. Chargers
Week 14: at Dolphins
Week 15: vs. Jaguars
Week 16: at Texans
Week 17: vs. Browns

That should cheer you up on a dreary Tuesday... you're welcome.
