Covering the NFL with Greg Bishop

Greg Bishop from SI.com joins The Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to discuss how the NFL is looking up til now. Sports fans are always arguing whether quarterbacks are qualified to be in the NFL.  When asked what he thought about Joe Flacco, Bishop says, "there's been a debate for years and as he proved last weekend he is able to play."  He is, of course, talking about the 48-17 blowout game against Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  He appeared relaxed and made some significant plays during that game.
There will be a great upcoming game this weekend between the Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints.  The Lions have been playing some great football and Bishop states "they lead the league in sacks and have overcome some injuries.  If the Lions get healthy they will be good."
Another matchup that will be a game to watch is the Denver Broncos and the San Francisco 49ers.  Peyton Manning just joined the most exclusive club with his 500th touchdown pass this past Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.  Bishop says "I think it's a good match up but if you were a betting person you would have to go for the Broncos."
While there are plenty of discussions about who will be the best team and who to watch out for, they also wonder, who will be the worst.  We are going into week 7, two teams still have no wins, the Jacksonville Jaquars and The Oakland Raiders.  When asked who will be the worst by the end he says, "personally, I would lean towards Jacksonville.  I think they will be battling it out in the end to see who may get 2 wins maybe 3."
