WEATHER BLOG: Soak Up The Sun

Unseasonable warmth will be moving in thanks to a warm front on Tuesday, but not many people are complaining. Highs will reach into the mid/upper 70°s and a few areas, like DC could be pushing 80° before the afternoon is all said and done. It won't last long though because a dip in the jetstream will drop temperatures significantly by the weekend. As a cold front approaches, a few showers will be possible on Wednesday (mainly during the afternoon). Wednesday is not expected to be a washout by any means, so the amount of rain that we will receive from this system should be under 0.25". Highs this weekend will struggle to reach 50° on Saturday, and the chill will stick around right into Sunday.
