Mentally Ill Mom Offers To Take Police To Her Two Missing Children

ROCKVILLE, Md. (WNEW) — Catherine Hoggle, the mother charged in the disappearance of two young Md. children, said in court Thursday she is willing to take police to their location.

A judge at the Montgomery County District Court denied the state's request for police to allow Hoggle to take them to the unnamed location.

The judge says he doesn't believe Hoggle is mentally competent. She is diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia.

Montgomery County Police have said they believe 3 and 2-year-old Sarah and Jacob Hoggle are dead.

Hoggle's attorneys say the charges against her should be dismissed.
