Baltimore Woman Awarded $1.4M In Lead Paint Settlement

BALTIMORE (WJZ)— A Baltimore City woman who suffered permanent brain damage after being exposed to lead paint as a child is awarded a major settlement.

A jury awarded the 23-year-old $1.4 million.

The woman says she was exposed to flaking and chipping lead paint while living with her parents at a home on Fairview Avenue from 1991 to 1993.

The property was owned by S&S Partnership and Stanley Rochkind and managed by Dear Management & Construction Company.
