Kevin Nealon Joined The Scott Garceau Show

Kevin Nealon of "Saturday Night Live" fame joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn on Friday to talk some sports with the guys and to discuss what its like to be a successful comedian.  To open things up Kevin talked about why he is still doing stand up after years of success in television and film. "Stand up is what I really started doing in this business and I never stopped doing it, so I've been doing it for 30 years and its what I love the best. And I do a lot of the clubs around the country every few  years and some coorporate stuff and its just a fun job."

Jeremy brought up the attention Kevin received as soon as he walked in the building, Kevin says he loves getting the attention because of the diversity in his group of fans.  "Its fun because my crowd isn't just SNL fans, they're weeds fans there's people that see me on Ellen a lot, I do the Ellen show a lot and there's Sandler films. Its just a real mixed group."

Scott also asked Kevin about where he saw himself at this point in his career. "I was just having this conversation with my wife the other day. When you're in your 20's and 30's and you go out on the road and think this is great man. I'm going to be a great stand up superstar you know. I'll be playing the Garden (Madison Square Garden)  one day. And then as you get older you start thinking I don't think thats really going to happen, so now I'm doing it because I just love doing stand up."
