Mayor Rawlings-Blake Announces Group To Review Taxes

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake will announce the creation of a working group dedicated to reviewing existing tax policies and fee structures and offering suggestions.

The group will eventually make recommendations for reform after conducting a study on the existing tax structure's impact on local businesses and residents.

The group will be made up of business leaders, members of the legal community, organizers and activists, and will review the city's progress in implementing reforms.

Rawlings-Blake is expected to announce the group on Wednesday.
