Millions Of Cars Are Facing Airbag Recalls

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Millions of cars across the country are facing a recall to replace defective airbags.

The government wants a nationwide recall of cars with front driver's side Tataka Airbags.

That could mean up to 20 million vehicles.

The airbags can explode and the defect has been linked to at least five deaths and dozens of injuries.

The recall would include cars with airbags made before 2008 by Ford, Honda, Chrysler, Mazda and BMW.
