FBI Searching For Masked Men Behind Series Of Robberies In Canton

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Three armed robberies in the same night. The hunt is on for a group of men wreaking havoc on convenience stores across Baltimore. Now the FBI needs your help to identify them.

Rick Ritter has more on the investigation.

Three armed robberies in less than 30 minutes. One took place at a Royal Farms in Canton.

Tonight the group of masked men is still on the loose.

The terrifying video shows it all: a store clerk held at gunpoint while being forced to hand over cash.

It's the common theme for a recent string of brazen robberies throughout Baltimore.

"Three convenience stores were victimized in armed robberies in sequence," said Patrick S. Dugan, FBI supervisory special agent.

On Nov. 15 just before 1 a.m., a group of masked men rob three different stores. Two Royal Farms in Canton , one on Fleet Street and another on O'Donnell—before striking again at a 7-Eleven.

"They took place with a very close proximity to one another within a very short period of time," Dugan said.

All in less than thirty minutes - before racing off.

Investigators say they're looking for three suspects. One robs the stores while the other two wait in the getaway car.

Surveillance photos show a better glimpse of the suspects.

Meanwhile, residents like Brandi Mellott are left stunned.

"It's a little scary because I bring my kids with me," Mellott said.

Knowing two of the robberies took place in what's considered a quiet part of town.

"We don't hear about that stuff around Canton," Mellott said.

FBI investigators say they're desperate for answers before one of these robberies takes a deadly turn.

FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for anyone with information leading to an arrest.
