Winter Storm Warnings & Advisories Issued For Wednesday Morning, Snow Expected
BALTIMORE (WJZ) --Winter storm warnings and advisories have been issued for the Baltimore metro area starting Wednesday morning.
Parts of Baltimore County and areas north and west of the city were issued a winter storm warning beginning at 6 a.m., while a winter weather advisory will go in effect in Baltimore city and places south and east starting at 3 a.m.

Rainfall will move in overnight Tuesday and then it will turn into a wintry mix by Wednesday morning for Baltimore city and areas north of DC. However, it is expected to be all snow for areas north and west of the city, according to WJZ Meteorologist Chelsea Ingram.
The heaviest snow is expected to fall between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday and will end in the late afternoon.

Roads could be snow covered and slippery and visibility may be reduced. The snow is expected to have an impact of travel plans for those driving or flying for Thanksgiving weekend.
More than 980,000 Marylanders will be on the road this holiday, according to AAA.
