Roch Kubatko Says It Was The Length Of The Contract That Made Nelson Cruz Leave

Roch joined Ed and Steve to talk about Nelson Cruz leaving and where the Orioles go from here.
Roch started by talking about if he would have given Nelson Cruz 4 years saying "probably not, and it was about the years not about the Orioles being cheap...I'm surprised he signed as quickly as he did." As for possibly losing Nick Markakis also Roch said "it depends who you listen to...I've always said the longer this draws out the less the chance of him coming back." Roch also talked about some possible options for the Orioles to fill the vacant spots in their outfield should Markakis also leave. Roch mentioned Torii Hunter and Matt Kemp as the most rumored guys for the birds along with Melky Cabrera.
