BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Drivers are advised to prepare for slippery roads Tuesday.

Many areas have already seen rain, sleet or snow.

The threat of wintry weather should be over by evening.

Winter weather advisories are in place until 1 a.m. Wednesday in Frederick, Washington and Allegany counties.

Areas that received accumulating snowfall last week will be more prone to slick roadways and sidewalks.

Rain is expected to stick around until Wednesday.
