A Showcase On Army-Navy
Jack Ford of Showtime Sports joined the Scott Garceau show with Jeremy Conn to talk about the rivalry between Army and Navy. Jack is involved with a project that focuses on the rivalry and what it means to the United States. Scott asked Jack where the Army-Navy game ranks in comparison to other events and Jack believes there is nothing better. "I've covered Super Bowls, Olympics and I've been to Final Fours and the World Series, there is nothing more inspirational than when you are there. This should be a bucket list item. There is nothing more inspirational than being there for this game. There is something magical because it means so much to the nation."
"I've often said that when I talk about the Army guys and also the Navy guys, I've often characterized it this way. I would be enormously proud to have them as teammates if I was still playing. Or if I was a coach to be coaching them and I would be enormously proud to have anyone one of them as my son… It's just every time I'm a round these guys I think boy are they special. There is something sensational about these guys."
