Jamison Hensley On His New Book Flying High Stories Of The Baltimore Ravens

Jamison Hensley covers the Ravens for ESPN, and spent 11 years at the Baltimore Sun prior to his current position.

Jamison joined Ken and Steve to talk about his new book 'Flying high Stories Of The Baltimore Ravens'.

Jamison started off by talking about his book and it being a history of the Ravens saying "I did wanna say the Ravens came here in 96 and have the first Superbowl in the middle and end the book with their second Superbowl." Jamison talked about how he approached the book by looking at all the personalities the Ravens have had and how that is how the book is broken down. Jamison also told a story of Jamal Lewis saying "he told me at the Senior Bowl he knew the Ravens were going to pick him" because of an interaction with the Ravens running backs coach leading up to the combine concerning Jamal losing ten pounds which he did. Jamison also told the story of how Steve Bisciotti nearly sold the Ravens prior to the second Superbowl victory dude to how he didn't want to be an old man still chasing a Superbowl victory like some owners.
