77-Year-Old Md. Woman Found Dying In Front Yard
JEFFERSON, Md. (AP) -- The death of a 77-year-old Frederick County woman found dying in her front yard is being investigated as a homicide.
Maryland State Police say they received a 911 call Monday afternoon from a driver who reported seeing someone lying in a front yard near Jefferson.

Responding troopers found 77-year-old Lillie Morris suffering from unknown trauma and called paramedics. Police say Morris died while being rushed to the hospital. An autopsy is being conducted to determine how she was killed.
Troopers and sheriff's deputies searched the area for a possible suspect but didn't find anyone.
The investigation is ongoing.
