Man Recovering After Being Attacked With Tire Iron

WHEATON, Md. (AP) -- Police say a woman lured her ex-boyfriend to a location to have sex and then two teenagers jumped out of a Porta Potty and attacked the man. The woman and the teens, who had been having sex together, are all charged with attempted murder.

WJLA-TV reports that 32-year-old Glenda Rodriguez and 18-year-old Luis Figueroa have been charged with attempted first-degree murder and assault for allegedly beating 32-year-old Andres Hernandez with a tire iron in Montgomery County in early December. Figueroa's 16-year-old girlfriend has also been charged.

The station reports the trio allegedly planned and executed an attack against Hernandez after he became upset by Rodriguez's relationship with the teens.

Hernandez was taken to the hospital with four deep lacerations, but is expected to make a full recovery.
