1 Dead After Ellicott City Fire
ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WJZ) -- Tragedy in Howard County after a house fire turns fatal.
Heavy smoke and flames engulfed the home on Doncaster Drive just after 4 p.m. Monday.
Fire officials found one person on the first floor who was declared dead at the scene. A dog and cat were also killed in the fire.
The victim has been identified as 70-year-old Betty Ann Davis.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
