2 Dead In Apparent Murder-Suicide
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- An apparent murder-suicide in the city leaves an 11-year-old boy dead.
Baltimore police say they found the boy and an adult male in the backseat of a car early Sunday morning.
Police have confirmed the two are father and son.
On Monday, authorities have identified the son as 11-year-old Matthew Arnell Thomas of Baltimore. The father was identified as Warren Everette Thomas, 54, also of Baltimore.
The car was parked on the shoulder along the 1900-block of 62nd Street.
Both had gunshot wounds to the head and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still investigating the cause of the shooting.
