Ravens Fans Confident Moving Into Foxborough

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Ravens beat the Steelers, moving them into the divisional round of the playoffs, where they will take on the New England Patriots.

Rochelle Ritchie spoke with some confident and hopeful fans.

After Saturday night's win over the Steelers and the strong performance from the Ravens offense, fans say it's a team they have wanted to see all season.

Purple fever across Baltimore after the Ravens take down their rivals--the Pittsburgh Steelers.

"Unbelievable game last night. Totally unexpected after the last three games of the season where their offense was not doing too well," said James Thompson.

The team will now move on to take on the New England Patriots. Ravens fans are confident they will get the win.

"We've shown ourselves that we can beat them every single year. So I think it's going to be a good year," Chris Smith said.

To make sure there's no shortage of Purple Pride in Baltimore, printing companies already have playoff shirts ready to go.

The printing machines at Maryland Screen Printers are already full of purple and black ink for fans to sport their Purple Pride.

"It's a nice little bonus in January where it's normally a slow time of the year. It's just fun to be part of it. Now we got Raven playoff football. So it's pretty cool," said Craig Pfeifer, Maryland Screen Printers.

Fans say the Ravens offense has struggled, and in order to beat the Patriots, they will have to keep up their momentum.

"It's going to be a tough road, but I think they will pull out a win," said Tim Rozalski.

Fans say they see a repeat of 2013, when the Ravens brought the Lombardi Trophy back to Baltimore.

"They are surely going to. It don't matter what some people say, I'm saying they're going to go to a Super Bowl," said Fitz Nelson.

Maryland Screen Printers started printing t-shirts at 6 a.m. Sunday.

The Ravens take on the New England Patriots Saturday, January 10.
