WEATHER BLOG: It's Snowing
Hi Everyone,
It's snowing. There is a "duh headline" but I think it is important to note that the forecast is holding up. Holding up as in "on track" to see some seriously cold temps come in to the Mid-Atlantic behind this "Clipper" system. We have discussed the drop in temps so no need to re hash that.
I know it will be cold, but thinking back to the "Polar Vortex" of last year once we get back to the low 30's for the week's end and week end it will look downright balmy compared to last year.
Keep it relative, it is January in Maryland. it is Winter. Nothing too shocking here.
The other weather story will be condition for the Ravens-Pats game on Saturday in Foxboro. Right now it is looking pretty good with relatively clear skies and temps in the 20's.
Find your snow legs ya'll, time to knock the rust off the Tin Man. You know in a while we will look at 1-2 inches of snow and not even blink. Look at this as pre season activity. Be well, and safe.
