Maryland Legislative Session Set To Begin
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Maryland's legislative session is beginning with a lot of new faces.
The 90-day session begins Wednesday in Annapolis.

The Maryland House of Delegates will have at least 60 new members out of 141 this session. The Senate has 11 new members out of 47. Two current senators also will be heading to Republican Gov.-elect Larry Hogan's administration soon.
The big changes are due to a combination of November's election, retirements and lawmakers who ran for other offices.
Democrats still control Maryland's Legislature. There are 91 Democrats in the House and 50 Republicans. The Senate has 33 Democrats and 14 Republicans.
Hogan, who takes office next week, is scheduled to speak to both the House and Senate. Budget concerns are expected to be a main focus this session.
