Mom: Please Find The Man Who Killed My Son

WOODLAWN, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore County police say they need the public's help in finding the person responsible for the murder of a 22-year-old man in Woodlawn. Police say the man was shot to death in the parking lot of a bar and so far, no arrests have been made.

Rochelle Ritchie has a mother's plea to find her son's killer.

Someone killed 22-year-old Donyue Fason, but Baltimore County police have yet to figure out who.

"So we are looking to the public for help," said Wachter.

In a tearful interview, the mother of Donyue Fason is begging for justice.

"I am trying to move on with my life but I can't because someone took my baby away from me," said Tyra Abrams, Fason's mother.

Baltimore County police say on September 24, 2014, Fason had been at the BJ Mallard's bar on Ingleside Avenue prior to being killed. Police say he was involved in an altercation that spilled into the parking lot, where he was shot by an unknown person.

"Investigators believe the person the victim had an argument with or altercation with is now the person who shot him," Wachter said.

Baltimore County police say they have conducted a thorough investigation but have not gathered enough evidence to find a suspect.

"Someone did see this. it was too many people in that parking lot for no one to have seen this," said Abrams.

Donyue's brother says someone has blood on their hands and needs to confess to the life they took.

"We just ask whoever did this to come clean so we can have some type of closure, so we can go on with our lives because right now we are stuck," Edward Stokes, Fason's brother, said.

Baltimore County police say solving this murder is a top priority---but they will need witnesses to come forward.

"Someone out there knows who did this," Wachter said.

Fason's family says he is the father of a nine-month-old baby girl.
