Red Cross, Girl Scouts Donating Cookies To Md. National Guard

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Operation Cookie: A sweet treat for Maryland's armed forces.

For the second year in a row, the American Red Cross and the Girl Scouts are teaming up to donate cookies to the Maryland National Guard.

The Red Cross will pick up between 300 and 400 boxes of donated cookies from the Girl Scouts' facility and deliver them to guardsmen and women.

It all takes place Tuesday, Jan. 20.
