Steve Davis: Ravens Should Be Asking Questions, Too

I think everyone is focusing on the wrong game when it comes to "Deflate-Gate". The balls had no impact on the game the Patriots were busted for, they beat the Colts by 38. What about the week before? They only beat the Ravens by 4, 35-31. Maybe a throw here or there would have changed the game. We'll never know. You'll have a hard time convincing me, or probably anyone halfway rational, the the first time the Patriots did this was in the most important game of the year.

Apparently, the Colts suspected something during their game November 16 when Mike Adams intercepted Brady and gave the ball to the equipment manager as a souvenir and the equipment manager noticed the ball. And that was indoors in Indy!

I would be stunned if the Patriots didn't deflate the balls in the game vs. the Ravens. After all, that day, the weather was even colder when the ball was harder to grip. The only way they can nail the Patriots for that game is if whoever was deflating the balls confesses to doing it in that, and other games. That seems unlikely. That said, if I'm the Ravens, I am wondering, and probably suspecting, that the Patriots cheated us too.
