Celebration Continues For Gov. Larry Hogan On The Eastern Shore
CAMBRIDGE, Md. (WJZ) -- Celebration continues. Newly sworn-in Governor Larry Hogan joins supporters on the Eastern Shore to welcome his new role as head of the state of Maryland.

To crowds of people at Sailwinds Park in Cambridge, Governor Larry Hogan celebrated with supporters.
Hogan says the Eastern Shore voted for change, electing him only the second Republican Maryland governor in some 40 years.
"You help propel us. We won every single county on the Eastern Shore overwhelmingly," said Gov. Hogan.
Governor Hogan's presence brought talk of change, including taxes and his first 24 hours as governor.
"And I signed a few things, including putting a halt to the PMT regulations that were going to destroy farming on the Eastern Shore," the governor said.
"More ability for people like farmers to work and more people like watermen to work and not have the regulations over there that is absolutely strangling those businesses over here on the Eastern Shore," said Richard Travers, Dorchester County Council.
Many business owners say the celebration is not so much of the man who won, but what they hope he will do to continue business growth in the state.
"We have suffered a lot of taxation and it's been really tough as a business to try to operate in the state of Maryland," said Larry Smith.
Hogan says his administration is already pushing for chances to help Maryland businesses on the Eastern Shore.
Hogan is the 62nd governor of Maryland.
