Police: Speed A Factor In Fatal Howard County Crash
LISBON, Md. (WJZ) -- Police say speed was a factor in a fatal crash in Howard County.
Authorities say 47-year-old Matthew Groves was speeding when his car struck a guardrail and overturned.
It happened on Frederick Road west of Bahner Court in Lisbon.
Investigators say Groves was traveling at 69 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone when he lost control.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.There were no passengers in the vehicle.
