Pasadena Man Convicted Of Child Porn Distribution

PASADENA, Md. (WJZ) -- A Pasadena man is convicted of child porn charges.

Police say Howard James Clem IV, 33, and a woman he met on a social networking and dating application shared graphic images involving prepubescent minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

The dating application and website captured the images exchanged by Clem and 32-year-old Erin Elizabeth Mali, which caused a "cybertip" to be generated to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Police then executed a search warrant at Clem and Mali's homes and on their social networking accounts.

Clem is convicted of conspiracy to distribute child pornography and receipt and possession of child pornography. He faces a minimum mandatory sentence of five years in prison.

Mali previously pleaded guilty to child porn charges. A judge scheduled her sentencing for March 3.
