BALTIMORE (AP) -- Cedric Blossom scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lift Morgan State to a 67-57 win over Savannah State on Saturday.

Blossom finished 9 of 15 from the field and hit all but one of his nine shots from the line. Rasean Simpson contributed 16 points and also had nine rebounds for Morgan State (5-18, 3-6 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), which controlled the boards 43-24 and held a 23-13 advantage in made free throws to snap a three-game skid.

In a close game where the margin never reached double figures until the final minute, Savannah State tied it at 50 with a three-point play from Keierre Richards with 5:48 left. Morgan State responded with a 10-1 burst fueled by Blossom, then protected the lead by going 7 of 8 from the line down the stretch.
