WEATHER BLOG: Conditions Stay Mild

Hi Everyone!

( I'd much rather talk about the Grammy's, but oh well..)

Welcome to Monday everyone. We have mild conditions here now, and will have through the day. (How about Annie Lennox, and Hozier? Did they kill it or what?) Showers will occasionally slide across the region, but not a ton of rain. I think the bigger issue today will be tonight as chillier air moves in behind the storm up over NE. (Speaking of chill Kanye just hit it to the deep seats last night..if he would chill he would stop blocking, from view, the mountain of talent he really is!) It is very possible tonight that some slick spots could show up near the PA line, and we could see some snow showers just North of the beltway. This should not be a big issue but we WILL watch this through the day and continue to update tonight's outlook.

(Ya wanna know who was hot last night. Tony Bennett, and Lady GaGa doing jazz, and winning a Grammy for it. Also hot was Tom Jones, and Jesse J. They too cooked it last night. Nice to see the old guys still bringing it, and the younger ladies into being able to "croon!")

Tomorrow and Wednesday pretty mild. Enjoy it while we have temps in the low 40's, normal for this time of the year, because a change is coming our way. (Speaking of which how about the "brass" the Grammy's had by having AC/DC open the show with the monster classic "Highway to Hell!") By Thursday another clipper will move to and through the region. We will see spotty snow showers, but I don't believe any really slick area wide roads..The big impact will be on temps which will plunge, again,  to the low 20's dayside, and teens night side. And yet another "clipper" followed by cold air will define our forecast on Valentine's Day. (Speaking of love do you not love Pharrell Williams.)

Today is 2-9. Only 19 day's left in this month? WOW!

(Then there was Jeff Lynn and Ed Sheeran rendition of ELO's  "Mr. Blue Sky." A weather anthem of sorts. Nice.)

Have a fine day, and a safe one!'
