John Harbaugh Addresses The Media

Baltimore Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh spoke to the media for the first time since the Ravens cleaned out their lockers at the NFL Scouting Combine. Scott and Jeremy discussed a few things that coach addressed today. Ravens Wide Receiver Steve Smith made his desire to return for the 2015 season obvious after the Ravens Divisional Round loss to the eventual Super Bowl Champs. However there were some conflicting reports that Baltimore wanted Smith to take some time to think about if he should retire. Coach Harbaugh cleared everything up today by responding "We're planning on having him back, that's a goal of ours." Jeremy was excited with news and began to talk about the passion Smith plays with at an older age. "Whether you like him or not, don't you as a fan almost have to appreciate the energy, the enthusiasm the toughness and the passion, that's probably the best word for it, that he plays with?"

Coach also discussed the status of the receiving corps and the fact that he is fine with the young receivers already on the Ravens roster. Scott and Jeremy added that they would like to see Baltimore add another body to the receivers. "I'm not saying that they have to draft a receiver in the first round but if there is an attractive one there..." Jeremy is a big fan of the team adding a tight end. "I like the idea if that tight end is on the board and he falls too you. Maxx Williams the kid out of Minnesota gets all the comparisons to Todd Heap and it seems like something this offense could use."
