Walt Williams On The Big Upset For The Terps Against Wisconsin
Walt Williams is a former Maryland Terrapin player who now an analyst for the Terrapins Radio Network.
Walt joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Terps upset win over Wisconsin last night.
Walt started off by talking about the storming of the court by Terps fans and what he felt about it saying "college kids and the atmosphere was unbelievable pre-game, and I think when you do things like that it shows your support for the team and it's great for the team." As for Melo Trimble's performance and playing well beyond his years Walt said "under pressure he handles it very well, last night Wisconsin's guards couldn't put pressure on him and he could get anywhere on the court that he wanted to." Walt also talked about how Maryland's guards beat Wisconsin all night and that was the biggest key to the game along with Dez Well's energy level.
