Baltimore Firefighters Hold Smoke Alarm Sweep
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore firefighters are doing a neighborhood smoke alarm sweep Saturday.
Firefighters will canvass communities citywide, talk to citizens about fire safety and install smoke alarms whenever needed. The alarms will have a 10 year lithium battery.
This is due to the recent fatal fire on Ethland Avenue.
In 2014, 17 people died in fires. So far in 2015, two people have died.
