Empty Patrol Car Struck By Driver Under The Influence

HOWARD COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Howard County police are investigating after an empty patrol car was struck by a driver they say was driving while intoxicated.

According to police, it happened Saturday morning at around 12:30 a.m. A police officer was doing a field sobriety test on another driver on Old Columbia Pike when a driver veered off the road and sideswiped his patrol vehicle.

Police have charged that driver, 25-year-old Sarah Nicole Curtain. She was arrested for driving while intoxicated and several other traffic violations.
