Mother Nature Was In Full Force In Harford Co.

BEL AIR, Md. (WJZ)—Mother nature slammed Harford County today, inches of snow blanketing the area since the early morning hours.

Meghan McCorkell has more on the bone chilling conditions.

It's another day of hard winter's work on driveways and sidewalks across Harford County.

"Old man winter is having a fight for the last days of its life, it's taking us through a toll," said Robin Shaw.

This winter is also taking its toll on the roads.

Officials say the county has blown past its $1.5 million snow budget.

"Hopefully we're tracking our last snow storm of the season," said Barry Glassman, Harford County Executive.

The Emergency Operations Center keeping a close eye on road conditions, 150 pieces of equipment have now been deployed on 75 snow routes.

For some a March snow storm isn't so bad.

"I am enjoying a beautiful day. I'm a school teacher so we have off," said Marcy Cole.

"It's beautiful, just got to dress warm you know. Got a little two and a half year old nephew that we're starting to take sledding and stuff," said Adam Robicheaux.

Others wish the weather came in more like a lamb and less like a lion.
