Car Crashes Into Crofton House, Driver Missing

CROFTON, Md. (AP) -- Officials in Anne Arundel County say a car crashed through the front door of a house in Crofton and the driver couldn't be found.

   The Capital reports that firefighters responded to a report of a dwelling fire in the 2600 block of Salford Drive early Wednesday. When firefighters arrived, county fire department spokesman Capt. Russ

Davies says they found a car through the front door of the home.

There was no fire and no one inside the home was injured, but Davies says the driver couldn't be found.

The car was removed and no additional structural support was needed.
