Sports Rehab: Jim Duquette Talks Orioles Spring Training

Jim Duquette from MLB Network Radio joined Sports Rehab to talk about the Orioles as they continue Spring Training in Florida.

Opening Day is a few weeks away and the Orioles are in the midst of Grapefruit League play. The team has gotten off to a 3-7 start in the exhibition season with the regulars not playing very much. Manager Buck Showalter has said that he wanted to get an extended look at some of the younger players this spring. Out of the regulars, Chris Davis leads in RBI's while Steve Pearce is leads the squad with a .357 batting average.

In the past few days, some of the Orioles players have expressed concern about the direction of the team moving forward. Chris Davis and J.J. Hardy have each voiced their opinions about letting Nick Markakis leave in the offseason. "With Davis putting up the numbers he did last year, he needs to concentrate on playing." said Duquette when asked about the situation. "If I were him, I'd just zip it."
