4 Injured After Three-Car Accident In Columbia

COLUMBIA, Md. (WJZ) -- Four people were injured after a three-car accident in Columbia Friday evening. The accident occurred on Broken Land Parkway near Hickory Ridge Road.

According to police, a 2005 Honda Accord left the road, traveled over the median and struck a 2002 Saturn SL2 and then struck a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer. The driver of the Honda was ejected from the vehicle.

The driver and single occupant of the Honda has been identified as Elijah Walter Jackson, 29, of Columbia. Jackson was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in stable condition.

The driver of the Saturn has been identified as Jonathan Colin Winkert, 20, of Highland. Winkert was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in stable condition. A passenger in the Saturn has been identified as Jocelyn Michelle Butrum, 21, of Highland. Butrum was transported to Howard County General Hospital in stable condition.

The driver of the Mitsubishi has been identified as Ganzorig Choijil, 56, of Ellicott City. Choijil was transported to the Howard County General Hospital in stable condition.
