WEATHER BLOG: Sunday

Yesterday was a rainy day, with BWI receiving 0.77" rain and reaching a high of 54.
That system has moved to our east, and and upper level low is currently moving across eastern New England. This is delivering some cooler air to the region for the day today, with high temperatures in the low 50s across the area. Winds will also be windy with gusts past 30 mph possible.

Monday, winds will turn southwesterly, allowing warmer air to be transported into the region. Highs will range from 60 to 65 this day with plenty of sunshine.

A cold front will move through the region Tuesday afternoon with a stray shower, and high temps on Tuesday will continue to be warm, mainly in the upper 50s to near 60.

The rest of the week will be below average, with temperatures struggling to even reach the mid 40s by Wednesday. (Note: the average for that day is 54!)

No major precipitation events are expected through Friday.

Have a good day!
