Ravens Restructure Webb's Contract

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Salary cap constraints led the Ravens to trade Haloti Ngata, and it was possible they would have cut Lardarius Webb. But that's avoided, as Webb agrees to a restructured contract.

CBS Sports reports Webb agrees to a $2 million pay cut for the coming season--a move that frees up some much needed salary cap space.

Webb is a six year veteran and one of the highest paid cornerbacks in the NFL.

Webb's salary is cut from from $8 million to $6 million for the coming season.
