Maryland Couple Charged In Armed Cecil County Bank Robbery

BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Maryland couple have been arrested in an armed bank robbery, and are suspected in two recent home invasions and a burglary.

Police said Saturday that a man threatened to blow people's heads off with a shotgun inside Cecil Bank in North East on Wednesday. Police say he then put the barrel of the shotgun to a customer's head before fleeing with cash.

Investigators arrested 33-year-old Erick Bryant of Baltimore and his girlfriend, 27-year-old Jacklyn Harmon of North East, inside a Baltimore hotel Friday. Bryant is charged with armed robbery, assault and theft, and Harmon is charged with conspiracy, robbery and theft.

Police say the couple have been linked to two recent armed home invasions and a burglary, and more charges are expected.

No attorneys are listed for Bryant or Harmon.
