Maryland Woman Found Dead In Home With Trauma To Upper Body
HYATSVILLE, Md. (AP) -- The Prince George's County Police Department is investigating a homicide Saturday.
Police say they went to the 6400 block of Knollbrook Drive in the Hyattsville area around 11:30 a.m. after getting a call to check on a resident's welfare. When they arrived, police say they found a woman inside the home suffering from trauma to her upper body. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the killing is not random, and that detectives are trying to establish a motive and identify who's responsible.
The investigation is ongoing.
