Report: Melo Trimble Planning To Return To Maryland
COLLEGE PARK, Md. (WJZ) -- There are reports freshman point guard Melo Trimble plans to return to Maryland for his sophomore season.
The news comes days after Maryland was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament.
WNEW reports the 20-year-old would still consider leaving if he was a guaranteed NBA first-round pick.
In his first season at Maryland, Trimble was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman team and Sporting News' All-American Second Team.
He led Maryland in points, assists and steals and was fourth in rebounds per game.
