Second Lawsuit Filed Against Rams Head Owner

SAVAGE, Md. (WJZ)--The fallout grows, for one of Maryland's biggest entertainment companies-- the Rams Head Group, now facing a $20-million lawsuit from three women who say they were video-taped in the bathroom by a Rams Head owner!

Christie Ileto  speaks to the victims' attorney.

Three more victims, alleging the same story-- of secretly being videotaped while using the ladies room at Rams Head in Savage Mill.

This latest $20-million lawsuit claims former company president, Kyle Muehlhauser, "installed and concealed visual surveillance" to record "unsuspecting women" and "employees' private areas" while (they) "changing clothes or using restrooms" "violating (their) reasonable expectation of privacy".

Police have been asking women who've used the restroom at the Savage Mill location before May 2014 to contact them.

Russell Donaldson is representing three women who are seeking class action status.

"When we enter a commercial establishment, we have a reasonable expectation that our privacy is not going to be invaded," said Russell Donaldson.

The investigation began last spring when a female customer using the lady's room here reported to police a video camera fell to the floor.

"We have one video and the women in the video-- there are 6 of them, are not identifiable," said Sherry Llewellyn, Howard County Police Spokeswoman.

Police matched DNA on the camera to Muelhauser, who's facing a dozen peeping tom and video surveillance violations.

Last month he publicly admitted he's embarrassed and humiliated.

Ileto: "Could there be more?

"We have a good basis to determine there could be as many as... up into the thousands," Donaldson said.

For now it's still unclear how many women are victims.

Rams Head would not comment on this latest lawsuit, only saying the remain focused to delivering the highest level of customer service at all of their properties.

All of the charges he is facing right now are misdemeanors.

Muehlhauser is scheduled for a trial in Howard County on April 23rd.
