WEATHER BLOG: It's Getting Warmer & Louder
Hi Everyone!
Have ya noticed it's getting noisy out there? Legit. I brought up, on the air, how loud it was in my backyard and neighborhood yesterday. I got home and took the dog out on the deck for some fresh air and for the first time I noticed how active, vocal if you will, the birds were. How many different "voices" I heard. Later on I took Dixie for a walk and it was the same way throughout the neighborhood. Totally a sure sign the seasons HAVE changed.
After bringing this up on the air I got a message from a viewer in Perry Hall telling me the "peppers", those small tree frogs, were now vocal..they are looking for a mate is what it is. Another sure sign of Spring.
I know the little purple flowers popping up a couple of weeks ago we a sign of a change, but now the rest of nature is joining in. SWEAT!
Today Sunny and "that close" to 70. A bit windy but still……..SWEET!
