Andy Freed Previews The Upcoming Season For The Tampa Bay Rays
Andy Freed is the play by play announcer for the Tampa Bay Rays.
Andy joined Ed and Steve to preview the upcoming season for the Tampa Bay Rays.
Andy started off by talking about the Rays pitching staff and if the injuries are the main concern saying "oh it is, absolutely is to the point where we don't even know who is starting our 4th game of the year...the good news is they are only temporary injuries not any major long term injuries." As for how the Rays will drive in runs Andy said "good question, with the exception of Ben Zobrist I think the Rays have upgraded...I think our outfield could actually be tremendous this year, but they all have injured pasts." Andy also talked about how this off-season's theme for the Rays has been change with new management and coaching staff for the first time in 8 years.
