Man Arrested In Death Of Aspiring DC rapper

SEAT PLEASANT, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police have arrested a suspect in connection with the death of an aspiring rapper fatally shot while making a music video in Seat Pleasant.

Police say they arrested 21-year-old Lafonzo Leonard Iracks, of Washington on Friday.

Police say the Iracks and 21-year-old rapper and videographer Keaway Lafonz Ivy were shooting a music video together at around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday when the he fired at Ivy, striking him in the chest.

According to authorities,  Ivy was found suffering from a gunshot wound on the 400 block of Eastern Avenue and died at the scene.

Iracks was being held in Washington on Friday awaiting extradition. He has not yet been charged.
