National Championship Recap
Brian Pederson of Bleacher Report joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to recap Duke's win over Wisconsing in the National Championship Game. Scott and Jeremy asked the obvious question, why did Wisconsin lose? "I think it was just a matter of Wisconsin's momentum totally getting stopped. They did not play with the loose and fun flavor they've had this tournament, where they were just having a good time. It seems like the pressure finally got to them, and they didn't handle it well. They've been so good at exploiting mismatches, and they plenty of opportunities and it just didn't work for them."
Wisconsin is expected to lose the majority of their roster with Frank Kaminsky and Sam Decker expected to declare for the NBA Draft. Brian gave his thoughts which Badgers could make the leap to the pro-level. "I think Decker will be a great pro because he can do so much. This one game won't ruin his stock in any respect; it's going to come from his workouts and everything this summer. Someone will take him relatively high, because I assume he'll go pro. He just plays hard."?
