American Ebola Patient Successfully Treated, Discharged From NIH

BETHESDA, Md. (WJZ) -- The American health care worker admitted to NIH with Ebola has been successfully treated.

The patient was discharged Thursday afternoon--less than a month after contracting the virus in Sierra Leone.

Officials say the individual is no longer contagious to the community.
